Day 2 of 365 days of sharing Herbie’s magic of growing food started off with a coffee date with my friend who is visiting from her new home, NYC.
Miss N has been following Herbie’s adventures on social media, but today was the first time she held his book.
“So THIS is Herbert Peabody!”
“Yes, it is,” replied our waitress. “And the children I nanny for always ask me to read about Herbie.”
I was elated – Herbie was gaining recognition from all fronts!
“And what do they think of the story?” I asked.
“They love it so much that I’ve read it four times already.”
Miss N, who is checking in on my blog, beamed. “And there is Day 2 of sharing the love!”
As a writer, it’s such a thrill to receive positive feedback about Herbie’s book. And Herbie is delighted to think that he’s a hit in that household.
