If you’re like us and love eating zucchini flowers, you may be very interested to know that there’s another similar delicacy popping up in the veggie patch: pumpkin flowers!
The trick is to let nature do its work first and develop the buds. Then pick only the male flowers – these are the flowers that do not have a pumpkin growing behind them.
Once you’re back in the kitchen, make a simple batter, dip the flowers in it and fry lightly with extra virgin olive oil. And you can enjoy them knowing that your pumpkins will soon be on their way!
