Herbie and I are very excited to announce that we’ve been invited to participate in the ‘Stories Up High’ children’s writers festival next month! And today, I headed to the beautiful Cloudehill gardens in Olinda, Victoria, to meet the organisers.
Valerie, Frances and Paul are the wonderful people who are making the arrangements for the day, and as I sipped my cappuccino in the fabulous cafe, something struck me. I was very lucky to be surrounded by one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever visited, talking about spreading Herbie’s magic of growing food.
Hundreds of visitors are expected to come and take in the festival’s vivid Autumn colours and the crisp air, and I can’t quite grasp that I share the line up of children’s writers with David Walliams, of Little Britain fame, and the amazing Andy Griffiths.
