And if you think about this, it makes sense. When I understand a process, I am more likely to give the outcome a try. Children are naturally curious, and they want to know why things happen and how things happen.

In this case, it’s growing food. The veggie patch is a wonderful place to teach them such things. And when they see the daily changes that take place when we grow food, it feeds their curiosity and understanding, as well as their mouths!
